Yearly lung cancer screening with low-dose CT, or LDCT, has been shown to save lives by finding cancer early, when it is easier to treat. If you are age 50 to 80 and have smoked an average of 1 pack a day for 20 years, ask your doctor about LDCT. This includes people who still smoke or have quit within the past 15 years.
An annual flu shot reduces your risk of contracting influenza and helps decrease the severity of illness should you become sick with the flu. To schedule a flu shot, reach out to your primary care provider’s office by phone or MyChart messaging.
Patients and nonpatients can have their prescriptions filled at one of our pharmacies. Choose a location close to you or use free home delivery. Our pharmacists will help get your medications transferred – just give them a call or send an email.
Gifts to The University of Kansas Health System make a difference in the lives of our patients and your community. We appreciate your support this Giving Tuesday and all year long.
